The Sri Lanka United Kingdom Society (SLUKS) celebrated the 93rd birthday of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel recently. The Chief Guest was the Patron of the Society the UK High Commissioner James Dauris who was accompanied by his wife Helen.
President of SLUKS Premila Paulraj in her welcome address highlighted the importance of such events that help strengthen the relationship between Britain and Sri Lanka. Over 200 guests were entertained by the De Lanerolle Brothers during a scrumptious dinner, followed by dancing to the tunes of Lazer.
