The Alliance Française de Colombo, France’s premier language and cultural institution in Sri Lanka, recently opened its newly-refurbished premises under the distinguished patronage of the Ambassador of France in Sri Lanka Eric Lavertu and in the presence of Aruni Wijewardena, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, and numerous distinguished invitees and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the gala opening of this much loved institution.

Entertaining the guests during the evening were Sri Lanka’s internationally renowned The De Lanerolle Brothers, Rohan
and Ishan.
