An International Conference by RIBA : Sri Lanka in collaboration with AIA International and the Italian Embassy in Sri Lanka was held on the 5th and 6th August, 2023 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo. This Conference  didn’t cause ripples, but created a tsunami on the architectural landscape, that left a lasting impact. “This was the very best conference in the world” were the words expressed by many international speakers who had attended over 100 conferences around the world. 
This two-day conference was the first of its calibre in Sri Lanka. The curation of 12 Speakers of the world’s finest architects from the US, UK, Italy, Iran, Czech Republic, South Africa, Dubai, India, Thailand, and Hong Kong, all on one stage, was unimaginable.
