Shangri-La Colombo brought the world of Michelin dining to the heart of Colombo with One Starred Michelin Chef Lahiru Jayasekera, the former Head Chef of Gordon Ramsay’s famed Michelin Starred Restaurant – Pétrus. More popularly known in the UK as Chef Larry, he hosted three exclusive dining events at Capital Bar and Grill as part of Shangri-La Colombo’s Culinary Collaborations series, which is all about showcasing personalities in the culinary arts, exchanging ideas and offering epicurean experiences to their valued patrons. Chef Larry focused on the unique locally sourced ingredients available in Sri Lanka to complement flavours and global techniques learned from his experience for the past 18 years.
