Zahira College Colombo Old Boys’ Association (OBA) organised the “Crescent Light” Annual Dinner which commemorated the 130th anniversary of Zahira College. It was held at the Shangri-La, Colombo under the patronage of President of the OBA Alavi Mukthar. The Ambassador of the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Colombo Dr. Khalid Makki was present as the Chief Guest. The OBA honoured the distinguished old boys of the Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Police who served the Nation - Major General (Rtd) Fareez Yosuf, Lieutenant Colonel M.S. Ibrahim, Lieutenant Colonel R. T. Ansar of the Sri Lanka Army, and Deputy Inspector General of Police (Rtd) T.B. Samsudeen.
