The Annual Graduation Ball of ESOFT was held at the Grand Ballroom, Hilton Colombo recently. The event was attended by graduates and staff to celebrate their accomplishments.
The night turned out successful with a fantastic spread of food and beverages by the hotel and the music and entertainment provided by the band ‘Infinity’. The Graduation Ball was a reminder of the friendships and bonds that are formed in the course of higher education and the best memories to take back home. A total of 1,700 students graduated at this year’s event and the successful students received their awards for Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), Top-up degrees, MBA and MSc programmes from Pearson BTEC, London Metropolitan University (UK) and Kingston University (UK). Special guests for the graduation, Dr Hazel Messenger (Associate Professor - Academic Liaison Tutor Guildhall, School of Business and Law - London Metropolitan University) and Prof. Bal Virdee (Head of Communications Technology Research Centre - School of Computing and Digital Media - London Metropolitan University) were also present for the graduation ball.
