A gala event was held at the Lotus Ballroom Colombo Shangri-La to celebrate Asha Samarasinghe’s birthday. Over 220 guests attended this celebration from around the world, some of whom included popular names and faces in Sri Lanka. They were kept entertained for almost 8 hours by Nalin Perera & Marians, Hector Dias & D-Major, Dinesh Subasinghe, Chandana Wickremasinghe dancers and Chandimal Fernando’s Jazz Quartet. The event which was full of surprises and fabulous entertainment was compered by Clifford Richards.
