The Association of British Residents (ABR) organised a  stunning evening and a fitting tribute and appreciation   to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the remarkable occasion of her Platinum Jubilee. It was an event like no other with both a high tea and supper served to the tables at the Galadari Hotel in regal style by coordinated attentive waiters in a beautifully decorated ballroom decked out in red, white and blue even down to the table flowers. The precisely timed 5 hours just flew by with Kismet’s conclusion with ‘‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary’.
