Evoking, a film produced by Udan Fernando was screened at the Filmhuis in The Hague recently. The film is about a Sri Lankan in exile who claims to be the last king of Jaffna. Shot in documentary style in the Netherlands, the team comprised entirely of Sri Lankans in the Netherlands. Prasantha Yahampath was the director of photography while Dr Prabath Nanayakkara produced the music. A section of social scientists and historians along with other Sri Lankans and Dutch nationals attended the event which included a Q & A session moderated by Professor Georg Frerks.
