The Bocuse D’Or Culinary Competition is an international event held in Lyon, France. The William Angliss Institute @ SLIIT has a well equipped training kitchen which the Bocuse D’Or Sri Lanka Committee found to be a perfect venue to hold the Sri Lankan leg of the competition. Chefs and their Commis from hotels in Sri Lanka competed against each other to select a winning team to compete at the Asia Pacific Competition to battle against a team from this region prior to being selected to compete in France.
