Zephyr was launched in mid 2014 in picturesque Mirissa Bay, on the south coast of the island. Zephyr Ceylon restaurant and bar in Kamburugamuwa was relaunched recently after lots of challenges during the pandemic. The Kamburugamuwa beach is a beautiful bay in close proximity to Mirissa and Polhena and will undoubtedly be a hot spot for tourism in Sri Lanka. Zephyr currently has two branches. A Zephyr Ceylon bar in Weligama and now the new Zephyr Ceylon Restaurant and bar in Kamburugamuwa beach. All their produce is sourced daily from local markets to ensure ultimate freshness and to support growers, farmers and fisherman who use traditional methods. Zephyr is now co owned by Mahen Wijesekera and his brother Chethaka Wijesekera.
