Lured by fashion’s ability to transform people, designer Ishara Rodrigo launched her label 20first Clothing to cater to an audience of women for who elegance matters. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Ishara uses simple silhouettes and an earthy colour palette in her latest collection titled All-day Ease. She attempts to use her creations to capture the fashion imagination of her clientele, who are classic dressers looking for a frisson of excitement in what they wear. Using natural fibres and wooden accessories her collection signifies a calm elegance with nuances of subtle sophistication.
