Riri’s Super performance

The Annual Super Bowl Sunday concluded on the 12th of February, lasting its usual average of 3 hours and 39 minutes. This was the 57th edition of the championship game of the National Football League (NFL) which is understood to be the most watched single-day sporting event across the world.

This year’s half time performer was Rihanna and unlike last year, the stage was all hers. Her showstopping Super Bowl performance is the highlight of every Instagram post or story and people cannot seem to wrap their minds around the performance.

Her musical act during the show’s half time included some of her extremely popular songs that brought out feelings of nostalgia. “Diamonds”, “Umbrella”, “Wild Thoughts”, were some of the few that were sung including a smash hit of her other popular songs, “Where have you been”, “Only girl in the world”, and “We found love”.

While many fans were expecting a surprise in terms of her music, her figure in the red jumpsuit caught everyone in shock. Riri better known as Rihanna, chose the Super Bowl to announce her second pregnancy. People are unsure if it was her spectacular show or her baby bump that broke the internet right after.

Riri performed hovering over the crowd on seven platforms suspended in the air which ranged from 15 to 60 feet above the field. Not only was this set up one of the coolest to ever witness during the Super Bowl but it also worked to keep her off the grass.

Rihanna slayed her performance all whilst carrying a baby. Goes to show that there’s nothing quite like the wonders of motherhood.

The performance was for the playoff game between teams Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
