Vinuri Perera is amongst the 30 people under the age of 30 who have shown exceptional tenacity, talent and a proven trajectory in radio. The inclusion of BBC Asian Network’s assistant producer Vinuri Perera in this list, marks a special achievement for Vinuri who has worked on a wide range of shows for the BBC.
Vinuri has worked for BBC Radio for 7 years on Asian Network, Radio 1 and 1Xtra. Her impressive resume includes co-hosting the BBC Asian Network Breakfast Show for the last three years. Most recently, Vinuri has moved to Radio 1. Her ability and tenacity for her chosen medium of work, saw her being selected to launch and re-brand four new shows for the BBC Asian Network which have grown from strength to strength.
A graduate from the University of Coventry, Vinuri is also credited co-producing the BBC Strictly Come Dancing Podcast.
