British actress Amanda Redman is a household name in the United Kingdom. Famed for her portrayal of Dr Lydia Fonseca, in the hit series Good Karma Hospital which is filmed in Sri Lanka, Amanda enjoys her time spent in Unawatuna during filming.

Why do you love to travel?
I love travelling because different cultures fascinate me. I love trying different types of food and learning about the customs of every country I visit.
Which country has been your favourite destination?
I have many favourites for varying reasons. It would be hard to pick one out.
In which country have you felt most at home?
I’m very lucky in that my work has taken me to quite a few countries where I’ve had to stay for a while. However, I can honestly say that I have felt most at home in Sri Lanka and Spain.
