Rice might be the staple food of the country, but bread is surely the staple food of the Lankan
household. If you have excess bread lying around the house, and want to make something easy but
equally delicious, this recipe is going to be your holy grail.
This recipe is a standard recipe that feeds 4-5 people.
Ingredients:
How to:
Grate a block of cheese and add it to a bowl. Crack 5 eggs and mix in with the cheese. Add in your dicedgreen chilies and your salt and chili powder and mix. I prefer my food extra spicy, so I add in quite a fewteaspoons of chili powder but like mentioned, it is completely up to your tasting. Once it’s all mixed in,ideally, it’s supposed to be a runny consistency. Pre heat your oven to about 130 degrees while you
butter your bread and spread the egg and cheese mixture on it. If you’re feeling a little extra, you can
even add more grated cheese on top for that added cheesy pull. Pop your tray in the oven, heat at 180
degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes and voila! The ch-easiest snack you can imagine!
